Rare mascot / emblem adorned by the vintage Skoda 420 Popular II Roadster (1936 / 1937).
Only 50 cars of this model were manufactured, with 5 surviving known examples. This design of mascot occasionally adorned other Skoda models of the same era, but this was few and far between. Many unfortunately now lost to time, along with their original mascots.
This rare example in chromed brass, and mounted on a wooden stand, is from my own collection as a Skoda enthusiast and passion for vintage motor memorabilia. It is in pristine condition with both fixing points fully intact. I also have an additional non-chromed version in brass (not mounted - 2 photos provided)
* Over 100 years ago, on 15 December 1923, the Škoda trademark was registered. The iconic flying arrow bearing three feathers symbolised speed and progress.
