Both vases finely decorated with various panels containing intricate silver wire renditions of dragons and ho-o birds. One vase with 4 such panels, and the other with 2 panels alternating between these mythical creatures. Set within red ginbari panels, goldstone enamel, and rare pink enamel, these are museum quality vases. The underside signed by the artist. Elaborately enamelled with detailed swirling foliage and flowers, similarly rendered in intracate silver wire and vibrant enamels. The pale blue enamelled reserves also inlaid with finely executed geometric patterns, all separated by fine silver wire cloisonne work. The use of ginbari foil beneath the red enamel adds an iridescent depth to the panels, highlighting the luminosity of the design. The sparkling goldstone enamel further balancing the vibrant colours. An exceptional example of painstakingly and highly talented meticulous art.
